This course introduces the Across feature of the DI Report Writer and will review the concept and behavior of the feature as it relates to enhanced reporting for fields that contain multiple values. Attendees will receive instruction on implementing this feature into reports, queries, and gathers.
Additional Query Tools
The session focuses on more complex query operators like “IF” and “ANY” to allow for more advanced querying capability within the report writer. Step by step instruction on how to define and use these query functions in reports will be provided. *This course is designed for users that have experience with the DI Report Writer.
This course provides instruction for using this unique tool within the Statistics Report editor. Attendees will receive instruction on using Quick Setup, using a Coded Variable within Categories, and using Categories in other complex ways.
Data Table Reports
This fundamental DI Report Writer course reviews the navigation of the report writer. Attendees will receive step by step instruction on building data table reports. This session will introduce various methods for running reports including built in reports and focus on the creation and use of different data table reports.
Formatting in Excel®
This session demonstrates how to use DI Report Writer tools with Microsoft Excel®. Instructions are provided on how to create and export a Data Table Report to Excel and how to then manipulate the data within Excel. Functions detailed include filter, sort, auto-sizing, text wrapping, and freezing panes.
This course explains the behavior and benefits of using a Gather. Attendees will receive instruction on building and using a basic Gather.
This course introduces the definition and key concepts associated with query development and use which is central to all report writing. Step by step instruction will be provided on how to build queries and use various query operators.
Regular Expressions (ICD-10)
This course will introduce the five Regular Expressions operators available within the RW Query tool. These operators are used to capture tens, hundreds, and even thousands of codes with one query line. Rules to accomplish this will be reviewed.
Report Writing Concepts
This course introduces the concepts used to analyze data requests and to determine the appropriate DI Report Writer tools that should be used to fulfill the requests.
Running Standard Reports
This course will introduce common statistical functions used within the DI Report Writer to report counts and generate minimum, maximum, and average values. Step by step instruction will be provided for using these functions in a report. The definition of when each should be used will also be reviewed.
V5 Admin Module
This course demonstrates several functions of the V5 Admin Module. Attendees will receive instruction on creating users, setting permissions, editing menus, and creating custom elements for use in the V5 Registry.
In this course, attendees will receive instruction on the creation and navigation of a trauma record within the v5 registry. Content includes details on required fields, skips, checks, and coding.
